Extension of abstract submission to December 15th
The Scientific Committee of ECP 2009 has decided that the deadline for submission of abstracts will be extended. Therefore we invite submissions of abstracts for INPsySR symposia presentations or workshop activities at the ECP 2009 on any topic related to the psychology of peace and social justice by December 15th.
The International Network of Psychologists for Social Responsibility (INPsySR) promotes communication between organizations around the world working for peace and social justice. The INPsySR will sponsor symposia and a pre-congress workshop at the ECP 2009 in Norway. We invite submissions of abstracts for presentations or workshop activities on any topic related to our aims. The INPsySR will gather these into symposia around a theme. INPsySR symposia will be part of a "string" on "Peace, Human Rights and Psychology", ensuring that our presentations will not overlap with others on the same theme. Themes we are working to collect papers on include "Do No Harm" and "Peacebuilding after Devastation", but other propositions are welcome. Abstracts must state the objectives and conclusions of your presentation. If you are presenting empirical research methods and results should be briefly mentioned.
To be considered for INPsySR symposia or the workshop abstracts must be sent to ferdinand.garoff@gmail.com by 15th of December 2008. We will send you word of your inclusion in our symposia as quickly as possible. If we cannot include it, you will have the possibility of sending it directly to the Congress by their deadline, 31st of December 2008. Notification for all abstracts and symposia submitted will be in March 2009.
