CfP Writing about Trayvon Martin or Occupy? (#trayvon #occupy #cfp http://critpsych.blogspot.com) special section in the next issue (Spring 2012) of the Journal for Social Action in Counseling and Psychology



The Journal for Social Action in Counseling and Psychology is interested in publishing a special section in the next issue (Spring 2012) devoted to action for Trayvon Martin and his family, as well as on violence against targeted groups. The Journal can publish scholarly articles (with peer review process), as well as Personal Reflection pieces, Call to Action pieces, Student Voices, Community Voices, and other formats. The focus of the Journal is to provide a space for reflectiion on action taken by psychologists and counselors in systems change toward social justi


We are also encouraging submissions from authors who may have been, or continue to be, involved in the Occupy Movement.

The deadline for either type of submission will be May 5, 2012.
