Call for Papers for Special Section of the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse on Innovative Approaches to Preventing Childhood Sexual Abuse

The Journal of Child Sexual Abuse invites manuscripts for a special issue on innovative approaches to the prevention of childhood sexual abuse. The issue will describe cutting-edge prevention approaches, including models for prevention, prevention strategies aimed at various targets (including but not limited to youth, parents, professionals, general public) public policy, and media influences on CSA. The intent of this special issue is to foster the development of creative and comprehensive approaches to preventing CSA
The deadline for receipt of papers for this special section is March 1, 2011. Theoretical papers, evidence-based or promising practices, and empirical papers will be considered. Please follow the journal's Instructions to Authors for information on how to prepare an article, which can be found on the journal's web page (http://journalauthors.tandf.co.uk/submission/ScholarOne.asp). Manuscripts are submitted electronically through the following portal: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/wcsa. Be sure to specify in the cover page that the submission is intended for the special issue on prevention. All papers will be screened by the editors and peer reviewed.
